Save
The Skin
An advocacy movement by Dermapharm to protect, restore, and educate skin of color.
Save the Skin is Dermapharm's community engagement initiative dedicated to raising awareness about safe skincare practices, preventing harmful skin bleaching, and promoting evidence-based skin health education among people of color.

The Public Health Concern
It was created in response to a growing public health concern, the widespread misuse of unregulated skincare products, aggressive skin-lightening practices, and misinformation surrounding melanin-rich skin care.
The goal of Save the Skin is to bridge the gap between skincare education and real-life behavior by bringing clinical knowledge directly to communities.
Educate
On the biology and needs of melanin-rich skin.
Highlight
The dangers & long-term effects of skin bleaching.
Promote
Safe, science-backed skincare alternatives.
Empower
Individuals to make informed, confident decisions.
Our Approach
Through outreach programs, digital education, and community conversations, we translate clinical skincare knowledge into accessible understanding.

"Skin health is not about alteration but understanding, protection, and care."
We believe that when people understand their skin, they are less likely to harm it. Save the Skin exists to replace misinformation with knowledge, and harmful practices with safe, evidence-based choices.
Ultimately, Save the Skin aims to contribute to the reduction and eventual elimination of unsafe skin bleaching practices through education and access.
Save the Skin is not just a campaign but a movement for awareness, protection, and transformation.
Because when knowledge grows, harm decreases.
To build a generation of informed individuals who understand their skin biology, reject harmful skincare practices, and prioritize long-term skin health over quick cosmetic changes.
A movement for awareness, protection, and transformation.
